As individual members of our society we have to earn a living to provide for our basic needs. Some of us work at Burger King and some of us go on to school and become electricians some of us go on to college and become teachers and doctors and lawyers and such.
Some folk have a gift for gab and have figured out an angle for marketing themselves. Our society is after all about how we can market our simple talents. Sometimes our ability to talk and insult and hurt the common folk pays big dividends and we get to become Ann or Rush or folk like them. Sometimes we get to become the pastor of a fundamentalist church where we get to actually see and mingle with the people we whip up into a frenzy.
The thing is who makes an Ann or Rush wealthy? Why we do of course. They are just marketing their so called talent. Do not for one second think they are ignorant. They have their finger on the pulse of a certain segment of society and they are playing out their 15 minutes for all that it is worth (millions).

When a person doesn't have the financial means to fund a marketing program, then they simply get creative! AnnCoulter knows how to get her name out to the public. I doubt she cares what anyone thinks, just as long as her bank account shows enough $$$ to finance her next objective & current lifestyle. I suspect she has some unresolved issues from her childhood that fit right in alongside all of her theatrics! She's got more of a death wish hanging over her head than I could ever hope to accomplish in my own lifetime! That's probably why I find her theatrics to be so amusing & so equally sad! She just doesn't seem to give a da*n about anything or anyone. I'd enjoy it if she would speak in a more rational tone & state the issues that concern her, rather than screaming insults & trying to force her point without giving the viewers anything to go on! I only caught a few of her interviews & didn't like the way she screamed. Reminded me of the druggies I once hung with. I will read her book when it hits the library shelves! Pay for it? NEVER.

Way to go, Malter!!!
Awesome answer.
What surprises me most is that so many otherwise intelligent folk don't see Ann, Rush, et al, for the clowns they really are.
Ms. Coulter may be too smart for her own good though... Her overly outrageous antics just might spill some light onto the other big-mouthed buffoons of her ilk.
One can only hope, anyway... ;-)
peace

You don't want to hear what I think of Ann Coulter. Trust me, I've heard some pretty interesting names for her, and I agree.

Had never heard of her until your question. Have signed up for her e-newsletter so when I decide about it will let you know if i think she is genuine or not. I am guessing at this point i will probably end up cancelling that as soon as it starts.

I think she's a joke and knows how to be a good actress, she loves the attention she's getting, why people waste their time listening to her or interviewing her is beyond me, she's a waste

She intentionally tries to keep herself in the news by making ignorant, outrageous statements. She's trying to sell books. Do I think she's exaggerating her personality? Yes. Do I think she's really a simple-minded, intolerant imbecile who makes all conservatives look bad? Yes again.
