its normal for first time mothers to have there babys head engaged into the pelvis usually 34-35 weeks it does not mean your going to go into labour it just means the baby is getting ready for whats to come,after your first baby the baby will engage maybe a week before or not engage till the day you go into labour but remember every pregnancy is diffrent good luck with your pregnancy and congratulations xx

Engaged means she's so low that her head is "locked" in the pelvis. That she's so low that she cannot get back up to flip around.

My son was like what from like 31 weeks on. blech. What a pain.... although its better than those women who have to worry about breech babies.
