...and do you believe his apologies are sincere? Should he be 'forgiven'?

...Some have said that he made a 'mistake' or just made s tupid remark... but, it was a 'private' conversation- therefore, he was showing his true feelings... also, you have to take into consideration the context in which he said it... he was trying to convince his son not to date an African American woman for fear of her hearing the derogatory language he uses towards black people...and that it might 'leak' to the press....he must have used the 'n-word' like 7 times in that conversation...

Matthew H... I have to say, I disagree... If a black celebrity used a derogatory term, it would be put in the public eye just like anyone else.... take Isaiah Washington for example... he made an anti-gay remark and 'lost' his role on Grey's

I don't understand saying those words ever.....if it's not in your vocabulary you just don't say it.

I have never said that word.

I think that's truly who he is when the cameras are off....and this time he got caught.

It not up to me to forgive me.....but it reinforces why I never liked him.

No I don't think it should end his career or his tv show. If you go to liveleak.com, they have the longest version of the audio tape that I have heard so far. It sounds like Dog's family has been having problems with Tucker's girlfriend for a while now. His suspicions of her were right. He thought that becuz of her 'character', it would cause problems for his family and what he has built over the last 30 years and that's exactly what she is doing. I think that Dog hit the nail right on the head with this one. I don't like the N word, I have never said it and never will becuz I know how highly sensitive it is and how it can be blown out of proportion as in this case. In the audio tape, Dog does say that he doesn't care that she is black. When he says the N word several times, I believe that he means it as a descriptive word about all the ignorant, stupid people in our world, not as a racist remark against black people. He also said that he not gonna lose everything that he has worked for over the past thirty years. I don't think there is anyone out there, who wouldnt do the same. You fight for what you have and to keep it. I think Dog was wrong for using the N word, but he apologized and everyone needs to move on and A&E SHOULD NOT cancel the show.

i think of The Undertaker will in all possibility save going until he's not any longer medically in fantastic condition to attempt against. he will in all possibility pass on until WM 31 or 32. Its intense time Mysterio steps down. They guy is amazingly respected and has carried out plenty yet regrettably you dont have a protracted shelve existence as a intense flying luchagor. he's not old yet hes too old to accomplish a number of the awsome stunts that he used to. And he's greater harm carriers. All those 619's have affected his knee's. Rey would desire to have a tournament with a heel Sina Cara. Whose performs the "evil guy that contraptions out to get rid in case you and take your place" character. And be triumphant. Its unhappy to declare yet Mysterio is unquestionably wanting to pass now.

Until last night, I wasn't even aware that Dog still HAD a career. Anyway, no, they shouldn't. If people didn't put so much stock in what celebrities say the world would be a little better off. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and of course, it will be bound to piss someone off. This is supposed to be a country where freedom of speech is a privilege but it seems you can say what you want only as long as some stupid little freak can't bend it to be something bad.

Do you think that he should be forgiven? Apparently he seriouslky had no idea that other people would hear that "private" conversation so that was his true feelings. He's probably still smoking rocks and screaming the n- word on his way to his show, you and I know it will haunt his career, but that's what he deserves

Everyone should be forgiven, seventy times seven times...as many times as they make a mistake.
A lot of people say things they don't mean in the heat of the moment.
If people don't agree with what he said or if they question his sincerity then don't watch him...it's that simple.
If everyday people were punished like tv stars and people in the limelight for making stupid remarks and doing stupid things...none of us would have a job.

What he said are just words, in a private phone call to his son. To make a judgement, we need to have all of the facts, and here the entire conversation, not just the part that the media chose for us to hear.

What is a black celebrity was recorded saying the exact same words, but saying "cracker" instead of "******?" we wouldn't even be discussing it!

If you read his book you will find a lot of his tactics, and morality is lacking. He smoked crack in the mid 1990's while he was Bounty Hunting. His murder conviction was in the late 70's. I had always figured he completely changed his life around after the conviction. Apparently he hasn't changed.

It's important to note that the murder victim was a black man.

every one makes mistakes. there are a million people out there that use 'wrong words' every day. but there not in the public eye like he is. but will this hurt his career prob. not every one moves on and forgets about celebs any ways.

I think it will be very difficult for him to overcome this. Unless there is a huge backlash his career should continue
