If there is a provision on the lease agreement, repossession of a car can be ordered by the court.

I am sure there is a provision for repossessing if payments are not made. After all, you do not own the vehicle. Read all the things you agreed to when signing.

In any state, if you don't pay the person has a right to take it back. Otherwise, everyone could get a free car pretty easily.
