How can I answer that if I don't know I lost it?

What an awfully, yet wonderfully, perplexing question. Thank you for asking it.

Thinking back over my life, I can recall things I thought I had lost; but later discovered that they had simply been misplaced: submerged in those lower realms of our minds, where aovidiance to resolve, or inattention to, has relegated them into obscurity.

But the primordial impulse to survive and overcome or resolve, periodically reawakens, and propels me to try again for equilibrium.

At times in my life, I have been so overcome with a sense of having failed in achieving goals I set for my self, that all my self-confidence was eroded, leaving me hopelessly depressed.

But then I would at times, with a seemingly trivival problem, solve it, and go on to the next one. And by adopting an attitude of persistence in such matters, discovered that my self-confidence slowly was restored to a level where life, living, became worthwhile.

Rereading your question, it would seem my answer is not a most appropriate one: for me, it seems that the "finding it again" - my self confidence - has been concurrent with the discovery that I "had lost it" in the first place, if that makes sense.

At any rate, I hope that my answer will have been worthwhile for any ones effort to have read it.

A questioning,

Wotan

I don't recall...

I'm still trying to remember the name of someone I don't know who saw me lose it. Maybe then, I can find it again.

Seriously, while I was depressed, I lost touch with living without realizing it. Fortunately, I found life again and now everything is just peachy.

This is quick, because as soon as I folded after drying, I knew I lost it. Where the heck did my other sock go. People taking apart the dryer will NOT help!! After years of this I have humbled myself to just get another pair of socks, and the embarrassment of having a sock falling out of your dress!!!

Healthy gum tissue.
I'm not sure if I will ever find it again, it is scary, but I'm going to keep dental appointments in the hope of finding it return.

I lost my youth, and didn't know I lost it until it was suddenly completely gone. I tried grasping it, to get it back, but it was already too late.

Maybe just a tiny little bit of it will stay with me forever. I hope so, anyway!
