Who actually has the nerve to protest @ a funeral? Who does that? Was that something Jesus inspired them to do?
http://www.tothecenter.com/news.php?readmore=3501
And the crazy thing is - the minister @ the church is saying, he has no plans on stopping. I feel that is one of the most disrespectful and distatseful things a person can do.
I don't agree w/ the war - but I still support the troops. Which party is taking responsibility for these wacko's?
(& yes I said wacko's - although I generally try to refrain from name calling. Because I think the constitution covers a persons right to be STUPID & OUTRAGEOUS. But I hope you can forgive me - considering these extreme circumstances..)

Sick twisted people are the only kind that would do this. You do NOT use the saddest time in the survivors life to make a political statement against them and their loved one.
Our Military should be able to have 5 minutes with those protesters BEFORE we arrest them and send them to Gitmo!

As you know I am a veteran. I served eight years in the Army and I am about to re-up for another four. If I ever saw anything like that I would kick their AZ all over the place and gladly go to jail.
Your right you don't have to support the war to support the troops. Many troops do not support the war! But support our constitution by volunteering their lives so that idiots like that can protest.
I am also a Christian & No way Jesus told them to protest! The man was not gay he had a wife and two kids. Even if he was gay what the Hell does that have to do with the War!
I am so pissed about this issue and not much gets me upset like this!
EDIT
A MILITARY FUNERAL IS NOT A POLITICAL EVENT!! THAT IS SOME BULL CRAP! THAT PERSON IS NO LONGER A SOLDIER HE HAS STUCK HIS SWORD AND SHEILD IN THE SANDS OF TIME. NOW HE IS A BODY A MOTHER MUST BURRY, A FATHER A CHILD MUST GROW UP WITHOUT, A HUSBAND THAT LEFT HIS WIFE FOR HEAVEN. THIS FAMILY SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO GRIEVE IN PEACE ALONG WITH HIS COMRADES THAT LOVED HIM SO MUCH!

possibly not, because of the fact it can be a waste of time. What could that probable help? He'd discover the closest hill and pontificate on a thank you to love and serve one yet another to all who care to pay attention. He'd then have his appointed leaders write letters to the church homes interior the section to describe a thank you to be Christian in positive element. The church homes could then strengthen and artwork against planned Parenthood by capability of merchandising the loving thank you to deal with the area in keeping with Jesus's message. they could attempt to persuade people who planned Parenthood is working against the goodness of advent and furnish the loving decision to them and desire they settle for. That accomplishes so plenty greater on a critically bigger scale than protesting exterior of one planned Parenthood construction.

I've never supported the war and I've attended protests, but this is just wrong. A funeral is not a place to make a political statement. The grieving family has every right to be disgusted and pissed!

These folks are delusional at best. A number of groups from veterans to motorcycle clubs have volunteered to stand between them, and the grieving families. The terms you use to describe them are generous. The ones I would use can not be printed here.

I am a devout Christian-but these people are fruit loops.Obviously they have never read the old testament. The Bible is chock full of battles and wars.Crazy is the only term that comes to mind to describe this behavior. In reference to the "what would Jesus do" part of your question, He would love them all-including the protestors. This is why He was and is the perfect example of love.

These people are insane. They frequent the television like prostitutes in search for their next trick and then have a go at people for doing the same.
They will be the first to walk through the gates of hell for taking the name of the Lord and using it in such fashion. Don't give them the time of day, that's what they wish for.

I do not like it and would never have participated
But a military funeral is a political event, so why blow
it up unseamly and disrespect the dignity in first place?

The adults at that church are as you say "wacko". What I find more disgusting then the adults standing there holding those signs is that they have their young children there. Brainwashing them into believing the trash. It is abuse from my stand point.

Those a**holes got slammed with an $11 million dollar judgment against them yesterday. Maybe Jesus can help them come up with the $11 million to pay it (hahahahaha). Hopefully, this will shut these vile monsters up....
