This gemini guy in my graduate seminar wrote down his email and handed to me during break...but whenever i write to him, he does not reply at all. I really don't get what he's thinking. In school he always seems very cold and detached..and shy.(i thought geminis are really outgoing!) But i did catch him looking at me during class...but he rarely talks to me....so I am really confused. Why did he give me his email if he has no intention of writing back?

He did his masters thesis on Bataille, so I wrote to him to ask him about it....strictly academic questions, nothing personal ...i saw him yesterday and asked him if i could borrow some books from him (because i am currently doing research on Bataille too)...and he did remember and bring me the books i wanted today....but whenever i talk to him, he seems so very shy....i don't know why....since he did give me his email first....but his not writing back is just.....?

The single life is ever changing (assuming he really is single.)
In the worst case scenario, he isn't single and thought he would 'get in some trouble' and flirt with you, the nice girl in his class. He either got caught by his girl and she forbade him to talk to you, or he decided to drop it altogether to avoid getting caught and/or doing the wrong thing.
It is possible that he was available at the time and is now seeing someone steadily, although he should tell you this.
It's also possible that in his interest, he asked around about you and found out something that made him believe you two were incompatible.
At this point you can only speculate - but the best thing to do is save yourself the worry and focus on other parts of life - perhaps the nice guy in your other class that has been looking at you? :)

Gemini men are flirts & like "quickies" anything quick, a friendship, love, you name it. In all honesty, you are just another notch on his popularity pole. They are attention whores to the fullest. And no I have never dated a Gemini man or been screwed over by one. Just stating the facts here. Best advise I can give you..if he's playing the cat & mouse game with you...kick him to the curb, it wont get any better sweetie. Find someone you don't have to play games with. Good luck!

Mercury, his ruling planet is currently retrograde. So that could have a lot to do with it. From the lack of what you're not telling us, it's hard to figure out what this guys is actually reacting (or not) to. You say he was quiet, shy and seemed kinda hostile. Maybe he just doesn't have anything to say to you. You might be better off leaving this one alone.

sounds desire to me your enjoying 2nd play around. wish i'm incorrect, yet while the digital mail replaced into quite often written, and he or she took the time to deliver you the quick one you have shown, why did no longer she in simple terms deliver what she had?!? gems like to play head games...they will ignore you for several days and then when you least expect, pop up and say hi (or write back). i should know...i just ended a 2 year relationship w/ gem guy who did this to me often...he was only bothered with me when he felt like being bothered...if you don't mind this, go for it...if it bothers you know, i promise you it will only get worse the more you get involved...
