The Nintendo Wii will continue to be popular and difficult to find; Nintendo is just having trouble keeping up with demand.
If I was a betting woman, I'd put all my money on Transformers toys. I'm running a toy drive at work, so I'm in toy stores all the time, and the more popular Transformers (Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Megatron), just disappear from shelves as quickly as they arrive. (You can still find some good ones onlines, but a lot of them are out of stock or being sold for far more than they're worth.)
Tickle Me Elmo friends (Tickle versions of Ernie and Cookie Monster) should also do well. Look for a surprising show by the Planet Heroes action figures, new from Fisher-Price--many of the more popular figures, such as Ace, are already hard to find.
Webkinz will be popular, but I don't foresee a shortage of them. Certain characters may be harder to find than others, but if a kid just wants a Webkinz, any webkinz, it should be okay.

I think the hottest toys for Christmas is going to be webkinz and the new I-pods.

well i pods are going to be the wow toy for every age, but since transformers came out, I think those will be in high demand

hi, it would want to might want to be tickle me Elmo. It really does more advantageous then chortle yet i can not remember what. there is also Tigger. for sure this relies upon on what age crew you're searching at.
