We just wanted to get our daughter a shirt that says I'm the big sister and let her open it and let everyone read it...

congratulations... I usually tell my close family (mother sister father) almost as soon as I find out, and the rest.. when I get into my 2nd trimester. so you tell them whenever you feel right to.

Congrats!!!! YAY!!!! Time to Celebrate!!!!
as far as the symptoms, I had them all with my first, and the being tierd part isn't from lack of sleep.....I was so literally fatigued that I would pass out on the couch as soon as I came home from work, and I used to stay up into the wee hours. The baby will drain everything out of you....but it is so worth it.

First of all, congratulations!!!

I don't think your daughter's birthday is the time for the announcement. Your daughter should be in the spotlight that day, that's her day.

I think anytime after that would be fine....I don't know if I could wait until Christmas though, the excitement would kill me. If you can wait that long, more power to you, otherwise I would just announce it sometime after little munchkin's birthday party.

Good luck!!

Congratulations! I am so happy for your family. Christmas does sound like the better time to share your new blessing with the family. I wish you and your family the best :) Make sure you rest when you can Momma!

Congratulations! I don't think I would be able to wait that long to tell my family that I am pregnant.... but it is your choice,.... whatever you feel comfortable with.... I am pretty sure whoever loves and was waiting for the good news would prefer to know sooner rather than later.

I would wait until Christmas. You will be out of the "danger zone" and it would be a great christmas present! You culd put ultrasound pics in your christmas cards!
