Your parents can go to jail for letting you have possession of it. You should give it back to them until you are old enough to take possession (usually 21) IF you don't want them ending up in jail.
If you got caught carrying it, you could easily go to prison for a long time - and again, so could your parents.
You see, your parents are responsible for your actions until you are 18 years of age. My suggestion is that you DO NOT walk around in your neighborhood at night. Instead, stay at home until you have a car and can drive places safely or until you are old enough to get a permit to carry concealed.

You are old enough to be tried as an adult in a criminal court for carrying a concealed weapon. Do you really want to go there? If you were to actually shoot someone, you would go to jail for the rest of your life. Can you imagine how long that is?
Why are you out and about at night? You should be at home doing your homework, watching TV or playing a video game, maybe talking on the phone, and then going to bed early.
If you do see someone shooting, get away or fall to the ground to protect yourself.
Whoever sold you the gun committed a crime. If the gun has been used in other crimes, you could be in even bigger trouble. Get rid of that thing, and not by selling it either! Give it to your parents.

First off, you want to make sure to get a permit to carry it and since your under age you'll need parental consent, so plan on telling your parents so they can go with you to sign a few forms, at the place where you purchased the gun. As soon as you have the permit make sure to put it a safe place you and your parents know about, that way if a cop or official catches you with the gun you can say that you have a permit to carry it.
I don't like guns, but be safe no matter what.

They would take the gun from you, charge you with carrying a concealed weapon, and once you finished with all that you would be back to being in the neighborhood at night with no protection.
It would be better to leave the gun at home and just be very aware of what is going around you at night and more cautious.

Since it's not registered you could get in quite a bit of trouble. Depends on what state you live in. In Mass. any unregisterd gun is an automatic year in jail. You will also be tried as an adult if anyone gets hurt with your weapon.
You should hand it over to your parents immediately. You will be safer without it.

So, you've gone from carrying a knife to carrying a gun? Let us know where you will be housed when the law catches up with you.

You're not that responsible, aren't you the one that posted the statement about pulling a knife on some kid at a bus-stop.
You've clearly got issues. I hope I don't see your work here on British TV re another High School massacre.

IF YOU CAN OBTAIN A CONCEALED WEAPONS PERMIT YOU WOULD GET IN ANY TROUBLE,
BUT WITH OUT ONE YOU CAN BE CHARGED WITH MINOR IN POSSESSION OF A FIREARM.
