Obama is a true patriot not a phony fashion plate one.
"You know, the truth is that right after 9/11, I had a pin," Obama said. "Shortly after 9/11, particularly because as we're talking about the Iraq War, that became a substitute for I think true patriotism, which is speaking out on issues that are of importance to our national security, I decided I won't wear that pin on my chest.
"Instead," he said, "I'm going to try to tell the American people what I believe will make this country great, and hopefully that will be a testimony to my patriotism."

His not wearing a flag pin is not an issue. You should be more concerned about his stance on illegal immigration. He voted to give illegals SS benefits even tho they had never paid into the system while in Illinois. He co-sponsored an amendment to the Amnesty bill stating employers did not have to check legal status of present employees only new ones. He voted for the Dream Act. I think that shows more about how fhe feels about the people and the country he wants to lead.

I see your point, but this is a free country. Obama can not wear a flag. He can criticise the government. He can even call for the dissolution of the United States and he cannot be reproached. The United States protects freedom of expression and speech. And that is a good thing, even when it is inconvenient.
The best way for citizens to show there displeasure over his exercising his rights is to exercise their rights NOT to vote for him. He will get the message a lot more sincerely than if we lobby to force him to wear a flag.
That is why we are the greatest country this world has ever seen. Because we tolerate debate and let the lies and intolerance expose and nullify themselves.

I like the fact that he doesn't wear the flag, I thought he explained it right.
There are certain politicians who I think should take OFF the flags they wear, their actions are so un-american.

He does not need to wear a flag, because he's still acting like a pretty boy.
Obama is a puppet on a republican string, when they tell him to wear an american flag, he will ... be patient!

You're attaching far too much importance to a piece of jewelry.
His words and actions are far more noble and far more patriotic than many who do wear the flag (and are a disgrace to it).

He can do as he wants, it's a free country, BUT he is running for not only President, that includes the job of " Commander in Chief". Would our military suffer because of who he is and the fact he tries to hide it from every one? Re-ask this question in Military and see if any military personnel have any objections to taking orders from him.
