I think too many people let their dream go for someone they love, but I think hey if it's meant to be it is, you should not have to sacrifice your dream. I think living that dream that you had is more important than staying somewhere you don't with no future, such as a job, or your passion because of a love...it's hard, but why should you have to leave the dream for someone.

If they are truly your one true love then they should understand and respect your dream and let you pursue it, and you them.

This of course holds true unless your dream is, i dunno, something like have over 100 anonymous gay partners, or commit 1000 murders or something. Then of course you can't really expect your one true love to stand by you.

If you really love a person, there is nothing you wouldn't do to make him/her feel happy. Most of the time, it's totally inevitable to sacrifice the things you want, or the things that you could have been yourself. Choosing love doesn't mean that you can't reach for your dreams anymore. In fact, it's more a motivation for you to dream bigger 'cause you'll now be dreaming for both your future together.
