2^43 = 2 * 2^42 = 2 * 4^21 = 2*4 * 16^10 = 8 * 256^5 = 8*256 * 256^4 = 2048 * 65536^2. If you want to take the time to calculate 65536*65536, and then multiply this by 2048, you'll have 2^43.

Assume that
2^43 = x
taking log on both sides
log (2^43) =Log x -------(1)
we have a formula log (x^y)= y* log x
using this...
Equation (1) canbe rewritten as
43 * log 2 = log x
we know log 2=0.3010(From tables or using a calculator) (BETTER MEMORISE THESE VALUES IT WILL HELP U A LOT)
ie)43 * 0.3010 = log x
12.9443 = log x
ie)log x = 12.9443
hence x = antilog(12.9443)
x = value
This is the answer.
Step to find Antilog.
Antilog of 12.9443
Separate the mantissa from the characteristic
12 and .9443
Determine the antilog of
.9443
If you don't find a mantissa in the table that is .9443 find the one that comes closest. In my four place log table the closest that to .9443 that it has is one that is .9443. Move from there to the left to the front of the row where we find the digits
Moving your finger from the .9443 upward to the top of the column gives the single digit
So the Antilog (12.9443) = Z X 10^43 = value

With natural logarithms:
Ln x = 43 * Ln 2
Ln x = 43 * 0.6931471
Ln x = 29.805329
x = 8.7961 x 10^(12)

They seem so simple until you really think about them... a baby's smile, a child's wonder, a flower growing wild, love and hugs, friends, nature, a sunrise... and so much more. They are there, they continue to be there... they seem simple in the idea.. but never are they simple when they bring such joy to my heart.
