It happened last night (Halloween night). The car just ran over it slowly, and it popped and squelched. I actually covered my eyes when it happened becuase I can;t bear anything in real life that bad. My mate though, he laughed at the exact moment it got squashed...

You know some times it is a natural reaction to laugh at something disturbing.
I sometimes laugh when I can't think of doing anything else. For example when I ran over a possum last week, I laughed, not because I thought it was funny but because I did not know what else to do.

I remember years ago I was down the park with some people and they were playing football with a hedgehog. They were all laughing, and I was kind of pretending to laugh but felt sick inside.
As I grew older I realised they were the sick ones.

I don`t really have to answer your question since the answer is pretty obvious.
But then again, he might have just wanted to look cool in front of you and pretend that the death of the hedgehog didn`t really affect him.

did y'all watch a car do it or was he driving?if y'all just saw it happen then he was probably laughing in disbelief-who sees that sort of thing close up really?give him a break I'm sure he's not a psycho.however if it's the latter then he's a sick freak and he needs some help.
