My boyfriend is well...an idiot lol and keeps shooting off these horrible names.I am 22 weeks pregnant with a girl and i need some names.With my last pregnancy we didn't have out daughters name picked out until i was 9 months and i do not want that to happen again !!

I named my first daughter after me.My name is Jamie Lynn and my daughter is Jalyn(pronounced jaylyn) i want something completely different...i do like layla(but i had a dog named layla lol) we both like the name olivia but it kinda reminds me of an olive.so im undecided about that one

You and your boyfriend should pick a name you both like. Ask him to make a list of his favorites (first and middle) and tell him to write down at least 10 names. Make your own list, and then sit down together and go over them to find one you agree on.

Layla and Olivia are both very pretty names. just make sure you are both ok with what you pick. my husband keeps trying to throw out some names that i would cry if i had to name my kid.
my last baby we couldnt agree on anything so, finally i just made a list of names i liked and told him to pick a name from the list.lol(it was a long list) and he picked with out argument. goodluck

Perhaps if Olivia was spelled differently it remind you less of Olive. Do you like Olyvia, Olivya, Alivia, Alyvia, Alivya or any other variation?
I think Jalyn and Alivya look and sound great together.
