Could be that the area is irritated. I know you don't want to call the doctor about this but I would recommend calling and see what she says just to be on the safe side.

Your body could be adjusting to not being on birth control, which could cause some spotting and discharge after intercourse, a pap test, or anything like that. Sometimes when you are pregnant already, when it is time for your period you will spot for a little while after sex, even if it is just a short time. A lot of women don't even know they are pregnant until their second month because of this, because they mistake this spotting for a period. It most likely is nothing to worry about, but if you feel like this is a problem or bothersome I would at least call your doctor to se what they have to say.

Break through bleeding is normal. It happens with some pills and usually the GP will just change the pill for one which better suits you. GP's are there to be bothered with questions like this. If you are worried about your health, she will know best. This could just be because you have stopped taking your pill, the lining of your uterus will begin to break down. This could be nothing to worry about at all, or you could have a slight fungal infection or even an STI, get checked out. Better to be safe than sorry.

Some people, including me, have what's known as a "friable" cervix, meaning that the surface is sensitive and prone to injury/bleeding. I tend to spot at least one out of every 4 times I have sex, and always bleed after having a pap smear.

I guess, she would be the right person to answer your question because she has been examining you lately. However, to me, it doens't appear a big problem. You must be taking a wrong pill or may be in excessive amount?
