It's not really "so" many, but it gets a lot of attention when someone that is loudly anti-homosexual is caught being a complete hypocrite.
It also has to do with the "sex is bad" mentality that a lot of conservatives seem to share.
When you repress something to a huge extent it can become and obsession and cause you to do some really risky things to satisfy the craving or curiosity.
What always surprises me is that national political figures can't seem to find a more discrete way of dealing with their cravings. Seriously, an airport bathroom? - whats up with that?

You know, this sort of "question" just BEGS for a conservative to bring up Bill Clinton. And then, you'll complain about it.
Clinton has sex in the White House. Our country's LEADER for cryin' out loud, brings disgrace to the office of the President and to our country. We became laughing stocks because of this nimrod. That is why Bush, a Republican, was elected TWICE. LOL

I often wonder that myself. And it always seems to be the ones that are the most outspoken against the actions that they get caught doing!
I mean, if that's your vice (who am i to judge) wouldnt it just make sense just to not say anything against it at all????

This SHOULDN'T be a problem. The man should just come out of the closet and be who he is. This lying, sneaking around behavior just makes him look shady. I doubt most care if he's gay or straight (except for his wife, maybe).

It has nothing to do with group or parties it's the fallacy of man. Everyone on here trying to pose these questions in political light makes me tired. People mess up and do stupid stuff. I'd bet most prison inmates given a chance would vote democrat.

What exactly do you think the Clinton's are doing with the 300 odd million they have in the piggy bank? Wiretapping & information all paid for. There are many scandals both sides of the aisles. You could say why do Democrats always go for expensive call girls and extra marital affairs? Sex sells. And people love to tell during election season. Way too many outings make one believe it's all too calculated in my book. Thanks.

Political ambition. They want to have the power and trappings of elected office, but they realize that having gay sex with exotic erotic voters looks bad on your resume'
but the good news is, now he and Senator Craig can finally come out together and live out their fantasies, holding hands and other body parts in public urinals. Ah, young love......

People get into messes like this not parties. By linking the two you are trying to stereotype. You could attempt to link it to any other group and find yourself a racist.

It's sad how said "conservatives" stigmatize homosexualuality.
People should be able to be open in this society today. This isn't the fifties.
