MAC foundations has alot of colors. its costly, but the sales lady will match you to the teeth and is worth the 26 bucks spent. They have foundation colors the shade of blank paper! :D
also, when you talk to the sales people, they will put the foundation they think matches on you on the store and ask you if you agree with the color. they also have a great store polacy on returns if you decide it doesnt work for you

Hey (:, I'm a redhead so I've got plenty of knowledge when it comes to pale foundations. If you've got normal or dry skin, I'd definitely recommend L'oreal infallible foundation (£11) in the palest shade, porcelain, it's really great, and ultra-pale, it suits my skin perfectly in shade. But if you've got oily/comination skin, I'd recommend Revlon Colorstay foundation in ivory, which is also paler than most 'ivory' foundations, it also has better staying power than L'oreal infallible, but this is only likely to be a problem if you have oily skin. It also comes in a liquid that favors dry/combination skin. I've found both of these foundations last significantly longer when finished off with a loose or matt powder, matt powder if you are looking for more coverage, loose if you aren't. With loose powders, the only one pale enough that I've found is the 'translucent' shade by N.Y.C., and there are a variety of matt powders, just go for 'translucent' in shade - a general rule of thumb that I've found is that if it's under £4 it's probably a waste of money when it comes to powders. There are particularly pale ones by maybelline and rimmel, check those out.

I'm really pale too. I like the 01 Pale Ivory color in Clinique's foundations. The thicker foundations have a paler color. If coverage isn't as important as evening the skin tone, you might want to go with a more translucent foundation or perhaps a mineral foundation. They'll be easier to blend in. Don't try to hide your freckles though! For you I'd recommend going with sheer foundations and covering blemishes with concealer. You can find concealer in any shade, although I like CoverGirl's options best. Best of luck!

i don't know if you have Avon where you are, but they've got really pale foundations. i used to work for them so i tried the samples, i think the colour was called Ivory. it doesn't go pink at all. i've also seen the colour Ivory on a few other brands of foundations, i'm not a 100% sure but i think maybelline make it too.

Mineral makeup is best, it's very natural, has awesome wear-ability, is non-cosmogenic, and is oil free, but please think twice before using Bare Minerals (aka Bare Escentuals)! There products contain bismuth which is NOT a healthy mineral! It resembles arsenic!!! I used this makeup not knowing this fact and it caused me a very bad allergic reaction!
Bismuth (IPA: [ˈbɪzməθ]) is a chemical element that has the symbol Bi and atomic number 83. This heavy, brittle, white crystalline trivalent poor metal has a pink tinge and chemically resembles arsenic and antimony.
I found this makeup and have been using it for 2 years now! It's wonderful! They have 17 foundation colors (way more then the competitors, from virtually white to deep dark tan, so one is sure to blend and cover your skin flawlessly!) and 5 different finishing powders, choose the one for you skin type! It really works well!
Plus they offer free shipping to the Continental US!
International customers please email for a free shipping quote! (Just include the items you would like and your location!)

Why don't you try a tinted moisturizer?
Apply this to the face.
Add some concealer to the areas most likely to get blemishes.
Sweep some bronzer or blusher across your cheekbones for a beautiful look.

Maybe untinted mineral foundation? Not sure if it would cover blemishes, but maybe. I think LAminerals.com has an untinted version. might wanna check it.
