Most women would say no. But it’s easy to say no, because it’s not very likely that somebody appears and makes a proposal like that... and somebody like Robert Redford...
Honestly, $1 million dollars? I am sure, that many would fall for much less...
We had the same discussion after watching the movie a couple of years ago and I remember my brother in law saying: If he would be gay and propose $ 1 million I would close my eyes and go trough it... my sister in law as so angry...
Would I do it for $ 1 million? As I said, it’s difficult to imagine this situation as it’s absolutely unreal, but sure, I would go for it, because with 1 stupid night I could make all our dreams come true and help all my family and never would have to worry about the bloody money stuff anymore in my life... Sorry, but this is what I think.
Imagine it would happen in reality, I am sure that most husbands would suddenly forget about all their morals and principals and blackmail their wives to accept this offer, because they would think, that this money would retire them from working, provide them a comfortable living and so on…
What would happen afterwards, well, clever people would simply ban this memory from their minds and live a good life and most women would not fall in love with this guy at all…
But fortunately we will never have to face this dilemma, because multi millionaires do not frequent our “poor” circles and do not have the need to offer a fortune to a woman to spend the night with them… as fortune attracts gold diggers and these gold diggers are mostly more than pretty and do it practically free…
It’s just a movie and that’s it. (And by the way, the movie is pretty boring)

Many women would do it for a lot less money and with a lot less good-looking guy than Robert Redford. If you think about it, what is the compelling reason why a married woman would refuse such an offer? Actually, for me, the question is do I rreally want to pay good money to have sleep with someone whose only motivation is money? Can't see how that would make for a wonderful night!

In the movie the couple needed the money very badly.People will say "No no!" but in a crunch situation what would the answer be? Morality really does not stand a chance against the fight for survival. It's the real world out there and not some self- constructed cocoon of illusionary comfort.

Every Single Woman would!!
In India its even worser - women get married and then file 498A (dowery harassment) and Domestic Violence and extort, blackmail and take huge amounts as settlement that they can later live with the person they love or secure the financial interests of her family.
this is a huge business in India these days and even if proved to be wrong these women are scot free.

I might offer a million dollars a night to any woman who could make the night worth that million dollars.
I would go so far as to say that I would offer a million dollars, but gladly pay a % of that million based upon the % of satisfaction that I received for the night.
I can also say that the % percentage she received would be based upon a lot more than how well she performed in bed. I'm interested in more than just sexual performance.

When a network comes to you and offers a substantial chunk of money to play along with a script that has been written for you ... you pretend. And then people like you watch and believe, and this perpetuates the ridiculous of reality / BS television shows.

Half a million and up yes I would. Heck, my hubby would be mad at me for turing down that much money :)
And I hear a lot of women saying "no" but I bet if a man really did offered that much money they would be the first in line.

If your suggesting 5 bucks, you wont get many. For 1 million I'd probably spend the night with a dude. For 10k I bet I could convince my wife to let me out for the night. Though I'd have to charge a lot more for her, shes special.
