Neither.
You have to really think when something like this happens.
Did it happen because the person is selfish or is it because the person was abandoned/neglected by the other partner in some way.
Affairs tend to be more about control than lust itself. Love for your partner cannot be duplicated through an affair but it is a good way to avoid dealing with your relationship and the intimate complications that occur, including power struggles and every day living issues including taking one another for granted.
If you have covered all of these areas, and you are still stumped its important to still make an effort to repair your relationship with this person, either through councelling or just waking up and learning to deal with your issues in an adult way instead of running from them.
If you find that the abuse of your valued time and investment in the relationship are still occuring, then you may have to just cut ties and move on. Please try though to treat each relationship as a valued treasure, nothing is perfect but you have to try to cherish the people in your life even if they are making mistakes. Your love will be remembered the most.
Take Care-Rachel.

I like to think that I am a good enough partner that leaving would qualify as revenge.

He already knows what my plotted plan would be.
If I have to carry it out, I couldn't just leave ...slowly that is.
I would also be heading for Germany and then take the last train to Istanbul.
This is a ploy in case he gets wind of where I would go.
I like cream cheese sooooo, and Marlboro's, and real coffee.
The last time I was in Istanbul, they were all on the black market. I couldn't afford the risk of getting busted and being sent home.

I would leave, no revenge. I would leave in a nice way so they might regret their affair later, but I would leave when they are not home and just leave a note, or perhaps I would kick them out, leaving her stuff outside the door. Just depends. Right now, I am single and a home owner, so I would not move, of course. LOL
As to revenge, the Chinese said it best.
"When you seek revenge, you better dig 2 graves, one for them, and one for yourself."

I think a man should have as many women as he wants.
The catch is.... He can't have me, too. It's that simple.
So, if he's with someone else.... he's not my partner.
Neither is he worth the time it would take to plot revenge.
No doubt in my mind..... I'd just leave.
(Besides, any woman can find a dozen men that'll treat
her that badly. The trick is finding the one that won't......
then, treating him like the good thing that he is!)
Hi Miho......... Make a wish.

I never could get revenge. It doesn't change what happened and only makes things worse.
I packed his stuff and dropped it on the other woman's porch and told him since he is there so much he might as well live with her. She actually did me a favor and I thanked her for taking him.
