leave a note in the fridge - she'll never expect that
add a few drops of lavendar into the wash when you wash the sheets
massage her gently

well, I love when I come home to my husband after a long day at work and he has the house cleaned up, a bath run for me, dinner ready to eat and a good movie picked out for us to watch. sometimes the most romantic thing you can give you wife is yourself. and that is better than any gift you could buy her. offer to play a romantic game with her...give her a massage. if you have kids...get a sitter, spend time alone. give her a day of pampering by you.

Believe me we are not very well off,and my huband is not romantic at all but one night he'd lit those little tea light candles around the living room and made up a little bed on the floor with cushions for us to watch dvds.It just looked so sweet and nice as he'd thought of it himself. The main thing is to do it at unexpected times not just when making up to her for something(something my husband never does)Other than that doing things round the house that she normally has to do(just make sure you do it right though!!)Running her a bubble bath when she gets home maybe with candles again. But generally just out of the blue suprising her with an I love you,or a text message,so she kows through the day your thinking of her,or leaving notes(I love that!!)Hope that helps, and someone please forward this to my husband!!XXX

Make her a romantic candlelight dinner. Or start a nice bubble bath for her and have rose petals leading too the bathroom and have candles lit and maybe a nice bottle of wine and some flowers.

Bake her a batch of her favorite cookies, or the all-purpose default, chocolate chip. If possible, time the first ones to come out of the oven right about when she walks in the door. Fresh cookies plus entire place permeated with cookie aroma == happy moment.
"Romantic" doesn't have to be "shower with love" or "irresistible seduction" (both good, certainly), it can also be a simple showing that you care.
Remember that fresh cookies call for cold milk or hot coffee.

Say romantic stuff like
" I saw a beautiful model on tv last night but it was u who swept me off my feet.
Leave small suprises like a love note or a crayoned card
Say she looks ot to make her feel important
Be there when she feels alone
And try giving small unexpensive stuff like candy bars and her favourite chocolates on not that important days suchh as your first dinner outside day or something else

Write her little I Love You notes and slip them into her shoes or in the pockets of her work clothes. Wrap up a candy bar and put it in her purse. Bring her breakfast in bed one morning. Write her a love letter, listing 100 reasons why you love her ("I love you because you snort when you laugh too much" is appropriate, even) and mail it to her. When you kiss her goodbye, kiss her properly. No pecks. Hold her hand when you watch TV.
Romance doesn't have to involve money. It's just in the small, everyday gestures.

Pick up a bouquet of flowers at the supermarket. They are far less expensive than a florist. Most women love the gesture.
