I have a bouncer, exerciser, swing, and just rattles, but I want something cool and new for him to play with different than those; any ideas? Budget less than $40.00. Thanks.

Usually children at that age know how to push buttons, or can learn easily. They have lots of toys that you can push a button and it will teach animals, colors, etc. They might not understand yet, but it won't be long before they do. My favorite is a little "remote control" car they have at Target (I think it's about $20). All they have to do is push a button. It might promote crawling, with them chasing after it... or just laughter, which is always good.

teethers they can knaw on...anything that is safe to put in their mouth. baby keys, and things that make clanky noise that are similar to baby keyrings. and bright vivid colors..get something that plays music, babies like to dance..and they are sooo cute when they dance..lol

I wouldnt get but a few. too many can be overwhelming. I believe the fact that my son had sooo many toys as a child contributed to the severity of ADHD...it runs in our family..but I know that taking the bulk away as only benefited him. Less is always more. and as they get older they learn to appreciate what they do have and take care of it.
