Circumventing Internet access control systems with web proxies to access unauthorized web sites is a violation of school computer usage policy. You will get suspended and/or banned from using school computers when you get caught. Use school computers for school work, and myspace can wait until you get home. Do you really want your teachers and school administrators knowing what you are posting on myspace anyways?

You can't get through because the school has blocked myspace, or whatever you are trying to view. What you need to do is go through what's called a proxy. A proxy is like a website you can go to that lets you browse wherever you want, but your network just thinks you're talking to the proxy. Take a look at http://www.requestproxy.com/ and see if that will help you. I'll add that the other answers here are right. If you're blocked out, there's a reason, and you could get in trouble for this.

Just as a quick note, depending on certain circumstances...trying to get around security measures can be considered a serious criminal offence. Even if you're simply a student trying to access MySpace from school.

Think about it this way...is it worth a suspention or expulsion to access a site you can access once you go home?

If it's blocked, there is a good reason why. My suggestion is to not access sites that are blocked...you can get into a lot of trouble.
