It would not matter to me if it was legal to not get a lunch, I would find another job that recognizes the fact we need to eat.

Under federal law, your employer does not have to provide lunch or coffee breaks. Also, your employer does not have to pay you for lunch breaks that you are given.
Florida, likewise, has no statute which requires a lunch or other break during working hours.
The only states which have statutes which require meal periods: are California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Kentucky, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New York, North Dakota, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Washington, and West Virginia.

The only federal law regarding breaks is 15 minutes every 4 hours worked; they are required to give you that. Statewise, they may not be required to give you a lunch break, but they are required to give you 15 minutes.
They are also required to post these laws somewhere in your office where everyone can see them, like an employee break room.

If they take off a half an hour off your paycheck for lunch then your entitled to it. If you work by a salary then your expected to work whenever. Call your Labour board and make a complaint, your entitled to a lunch if it's in your work contract.
