What he said is right. The way he said it is wrong. Now he will lose his career over exactly what he said by the exact people he said would take it away. What ever happened to "Sticks and stones"? Now it's "That hurt me and I needs to gets my free stuff". When is this going to end? How much welfare is needed? I guess being a victim is better than living your life and perservering. The best revenge is Success but I guess that is too much to ask. Let the excuses begin.

Apperantly he said the dreaded "N" word that we hardly ever hear except for 10,000 rap songs and Videos for that last 5 years.

If you read his book you will find a lot of his tactics, and morality is lacking. He smoked crack in the mid 1990's while he was Bounty Hunting. His murder conviction was in the late 70's. I had always figured he completely changed his life around after the conviction. Apparently he hasn't changed.

It's important to note that the murder victim was a black man.

And in case you didn't get the memo, it's only an insult to use that kind of term if you are outside of that group. I.E. if you are actually in the group, it is not a debasing put-down.

Ya know, like a Yank can't call a Brit a Limey, but a Brit can call his fellow Brit a Limey.

Most 12 years olds could understand this social nuance.

Have any of you whiney peole ever had to live with or adjacent to a "black" community?? ( I am not talking about hanging with one or two token black in your crowd - who are on their best behavior!)

I bet all of you people are white and under the age of 40 years old - trying to prove youare not racist.

I was not raised racist. The "N" word was never allowed any where anytime!!! I am not a racist.

After living adjacent to black I think or use the "N" word everyday because of the way they treatred me as a white and the waY THEY ACTED TOWARDS ME.

I should not be blamed and help responsible for the history of the entire human race and the history of the world!! I have alway been fair and it is unfair blacks are attacking our generation who are trying to help.

I used to admire Berry Gordy Jr. Now I can not think of a better example for the use of the "N" word. That guy used doped up cigarrettes on an elemntary school white kid and totaqlly screwed up the kids mind

BLACK and Jews ARE ATTACKING WHITES and then calling the whites racists - AND MY GENERATION NEVER DID ANYTHING BUT TRY TO BE FAIR AND JUST!!

Maybe Dog didn't live a sheltered little cozy suburban life like you whiners!!!!!!! ANd has life experiences based ON THE REALITY of what is really going on out there!!!

Just because I am aware that I was drugged and attacked by black and Jews - does not make me a racist - I was attacked!! And the people who attacked me were counting on whiners to defend them and call me a racist.

AND BECUASE THEY DID - I will continue to use the "N" word everyday of my life - until Barry Gordy Jr and his Jewish friend appolodize to me in person and explain to the rest of the world what they have done to me, my life and my family!!!

Blacks and Jews should be men enough to own up to their actionsd

BARYY GORDY JR is a gutleess man who deserves to ne called the "N" word! no APLGIES FROM ME UNTIL THEY APPOLOGIZE TO THE WORLD FOR WHAT THEY HAVE DONE!!

What the heck are you talking about? Are you saying "The Dog" is now in jeopardy of losing his career because of the opinions of people on welfare? Don't think so. He may take a hit in the public eye if he said something that could be perceived as unkind to the welfare community (or anyone else for that matter), but he still has his bail bond and enforcement business and is still a recognized community leader in Hawaii, so he is in no danger of losing his career.

GOD BLESS DOG AND ALL THE CHAPMANS!!!

I agree, they way he worded his discussion was wrong, but people do tend to blow things out of proportion and keep on bringing the past back and making excuses and making themselves the victims, it's getting old. He wasn't right in what he said, but it shouldn't ruin his career, the show shouldn't have been suspended for it.

There are songs that do say that word, but, remember that it's coming from the same community, so it's not seen as a bad expression, but coming from a different community or race, it is considered offensive, insulting, wrong, not appreciated. So, there is where the issue begins.
I'm not racist, and I don't agree with what he said it was wrong, and he should have measured his words, but it does get pushed out of control most of the times. If that's the case all the music channels should bleep it out, it shouldn't be allowed to be heard only if someone buys the album.
Like I said, I don't agree with racism, I do belong to a minority, but when people say offensive things about my race, I just have to learn to block those things out, they do hurt, but I don't blow it all out, who cares.

I think it's because it was publicized. As a private citizen, I could say the same thing if I wanted, and no one would be the wiser. As a "celebrity", it was reported to the media and thus the world. He's supposed to be someone to look up to, and when he's promoting racism, it's not going to have a happy ending, no matter how he meant it.

Love knows no color; he never should have asked his son that. Yes, I understand the reasoning, but the family should be more accepting and watch their language when she's around.

There's not doubt that what he said was wrong but I think people blow stuff way out of proportion. I think in a moment of anger people can say lots of unkind things and yes he should apologize but he shouldn't lose his career over it. I'm by no means disrespecting anyone but I just don't understand why a black person can sit there and call me a cracker and no one cares. If I can let their insults roll of my back then why can't they do the same. I understand that lots of black people in America had difficulties back in the day and believe me my family members were marching out with them and getting the crap beat out of them too but that was long ago. These new generations don't know what that suffering was and yet why do they use it as if it's still happening. I know racism still exists out there and that's a horrible thing but let's try to move ahead instead of living in the past. People will always say mean things but we should learn to be cool headed and forgive others as we would like to be forgiven when we mess up.
