If you’ve positively identified your problem as a bed bug infestation, it is time to sanitize the affected areas. If you can spare money for another mattress it would be a good idea to throw your old one out. If you can’t afford another mattress, vacuuming the mattress and applying a sealable cover should be sufficient. Meanwhile, all clothes, linens, and bedding should be washed in hot water, and the immediate area vacuumed thoroughly.Good luck! :)

I saw a show about bed bugs and just how bad they are, I think you need to call in an exterminator and get rid of your bed.. good luck..

i got a bit paranoid about this as well as am sneezing and not getting over it. apparently everyone in london has bed bugs.

i read that the only way to be sure is to get a new bed and with it a plastic or micropore cover.

launder all sheets in hot water and bleach. leave curtains open - sunlight kills them (and other things besides, like mould and various other spores).

vacuum mattress if not buying new one.

Sorry James- The only sure way is to get rid of the bed, preferably by burning it if it won't make dangerous fumes.

If you are speaking of bed mites, I doubt you'll be able to truly eliminate them entirely as they thrive off of the sweat and skin cells you shed as you sleep. They are rarely harmful, just doing their job.

To keep their population to a minimum, I suggest cleaning your bed sheets at least once a month.

WOW... I don't think you can because they build their nest within the mattress itself. The only thing you can do is trash it and get a new one.
