Computer Engineering Physic etc all need mathematic as a basic. With Mathematic, you can predict whats coming and the probability for a meteor to hit you on your head etc.

You use it more ways than you believe. Every time you have to count something, measure something, dial a telephone and etc.. Some of these things are simple math, but still math. Mathematics is a very precise language. To show how precise, when you say there is 1 something you are not saying 1.00000......1, but exactly 1. Our spoken language has vaguness but not true math.

lots of things really.. math makes good buildings, houses, tells you if you're paying too much for something or not, identifies the real gold from the fake ones, makes you realize that a country is farther than the other... it can measure how a big an explosion can get, or how fast the storm is travelling... all sorts of things... i hope you get the picture...
