Even when washed and not dirty does it have a slightly fiffrent skin smell of its own?

The skin itself wouldn't smell any different. However, there is a fair amount of mucous membrane tissue (which is not defined as skin) at the end of the penis, which exudes a certain unique scent - much like a woman's external genitalia has its own unique scent.

I agree with Lynne, I think it is a simple PH balance that is causing it because the area has more moisture then the rest of your skin. And no I don't go around smelling penises, but I have noticed it on past boyfriends as well.

Does ur underarms smell? Does the crack of your butt smell? Do these areas smell different from the rest of your body?
Of course it does! You sweat in those areas, just as you do in your crotch...so of course, it will smell differently from other areas.
If ur selfconcious of the smell, I suggest you bath with a scented deoderant soap.

i guess it would have as it is often in contact with sperm and urine, its also kept moist so that it doesn't hurt and also to protect it so it might be with moistness that is causing the smell? if you are worried about it contact your doctor who will check that everything is okay? it could be a simple PH imbalance

ya i think u penis is uncut and hence the smell is different as top of penis is covered by foreskin

yes it does and they say that that is intentional something having to do with pheromones Suppose to attract the opposite sex
