My high school mascot was LAME. It was the "statesman"... just a dude in a tophat.
I work at a high school now and the mascot is the greyhound.

The first high school I went to it was the Pioneers. Colors blue and gold. The one I graduated from was the Golden Eagles but mostly just the Eagles. Colros blue and gold. The community college I attended (but did not graduate from) was the Golden Jets or Jets. Colors maroon and gold. All pretty tame names.

My mascot is a bruin, which is just a fancier name for a bear. It sure beats one of our rival high schools in town, though. Their mascot is a seagull.

We were the "Astros" in homage to Alan Shephard, the first American in space and the guy who played golf on the moon. He lived in our town!

my school is the saints. our mascot is Charles the Great (who is a saint.)
