It depends. If you say anything about certain groups then no because their political machines are so powerful that they cut off all discussion just be calling something racist or anti-semitic. On the other hand, if you want to say something bad about say arabs or fat people you are completely free because somehow that is ok. Go figure.

Of course. However, Freedom carries responsibility. Like I am free to start yelling whatever I want when Al Gore comes to speak at my campus, but I carry the responsibility for being tazed.

Out in public, no. There is such a thing as consideration of others. Express yourself appropriately. Respect others and they will respect you.
