I spend Thanksgiving with my fiance, and we go to HIS parents and eat--then MY Moms---then My dads. So we are traveling all day eating. But I love it and it is fun....funny though at all 3 stops no large families....small families.

I'm an only child, but I have a HUGE extended family--my great-great grandfather had 17 kids, and they all bred like rabbits (we had about 300 at the last reunion, and that was just the ones who bothered to show up!). We usually have just the closer members of the family for Thanksgiving, though--about 15-20 people.

I spend thanksgiving with my 2 kids, my fiancee, my sister, her husband and their 2 kids and my dad , my brother and his fiancee...we have a great time on thanksgiving and i look forward to the holiday every year. my mother died jan 29, 2006 very suddenly at age 64 yr old five days before my son was born so this will be the 2nd thanksgiving without her but we will all be thinking about her.

Well I'm an only child but I have a huge family. But most of them live in other countries.

My grandpa's on my dad's side his son's live in Ohio except two are in Florida. And i think the rest of his family is in Ireland. My grandma on my dad's side we got her family in London, Canada, Belgium, Australia, Italy, Turkey, and my mom's side has people in Germany, Poland, Austria, Netherlands, and that's about it.

So if we combined those people all together, we would be very loud, and very confused cause I doubt half of those people speak English.

So the family I do have in Ohio they are my half cousins family but it's a family nonetheless and it's pretty huge. Very huge we have to bake like two small turkeys for everyone to get a good meal. But it's fun.

xoxo,
blondie.

i used to spend it with my mom , sister, and my cousins wifes family about 30 people.
always felt like an outsider, have nothing in common at all.

now we spend it just the three of us with my dads sister, its small but its a family before that was just weird and depressing
