I don't think the team will stay intact. The Tigers already look a lot better, the Angels will be back cos they have an outstanding organization now. I'm a NL guy but the AL is clearly stronger so the Red Sox will need to get a pitcher to replace Schilling and depending on if Lowell comes back, we'll see...I don't think Boston does repeat.

they will for sure????
That's ludicrous.
Even if they are the most likely, no reasonable BASEBALL fan would ever say that they 'will for sure'
Such a homer comment.
When Randy Johnson signed with the Yankees do you know what people were saying.
1) He'd win 30 games
2) they would win 125
3) they have the world series in the bag.
None of those things happened.
It's one thing to hope that they win, I hope they don't actually.
However, saying that they will for sure based on them keeping the same team together is a bit far reaching and as I said, reeks of being a homer.

Awful hard to do in todays game, they will not remain intact due to free agency. I think they have a great season but I am not sure they win it again, especially if Lowell goes elsewhere, pitching wise they may get better by going to the Youth...but they may suffer with that move as well.

Pretty bitter, ay, Josh?
But, yes, I do agree that it is a bit early to be talking about repeating...right now, it is about enjoying the moment, basking in the glow of being champs, and not worrying about a thing pertaining to baseball apart from celebrating a job well done.

Possible but I doubt it because the team will lose some key players. Kind of early to be talking about next season if you ask me.

I think we have a good chance, we seem to be getting stronger. And for people who think we should give other teams a chance to win, grow up! Don't be jealous =)

I'm not a red sox hater, but really give someone else a chance to win. They could, but I doubt it.
