any one know any true ghoast stories?

My parents own two small assisted living facilities here in Indiana, and each of them has at least one ghost. The cook at one heard voices down the hall at night when she was the only one there--she yelled out, "Stop that--you're scaring me!" and the voices stopped. I helped her at a lunch one time, and halfway through the cycle, the coffee pot stopped for no reason. She took it in stride--she has even named the poltergeist there.

I just found out that the second one has a more traditional type of ghost, too. Two of the employees saw a tall woman coming down the hallway. She had long hair and a long gown on (there are only five residents, and it definitely wasn't any of them). She was floating about 6" off of the floor. Then another employee reported exactly the same thing, even though she had never heard about the first apparition. Before my parents bought them, the assisted living facilities were nursing homes--apparently a few of the residents never moved.

My aunt can see all these ghost in her house. she lives pretty close to a cematry. or however u spell it.. shell be sleepin in bed when her whole bed rises n shakes.. shes getting prety used to it.. she even talked to a ghost walkin down her steps.. he was probably from the 80's with his jeans n shirt the way they were.. the guy was runnin away from this old lady that followed.

Pardon me, but "true" and "ghost story" are not logically related. I like stories about ghosts as much as the next person, but please, get real about what is "real."

_Collected Stories of the South_ has some good tales. I'm sorry I don't remember the editor. I'll see if I can find it when I finish my chores this morning.
