safe - well, if you use the recommended 10% bleach to water than you will be fine, as long as you have the air circulating, take extra precaution by wearing gloves, and don't hover over the fumes.
I have taken to mopping with bleach - detergent and water recently, as I am 37 weeks, and we own two active dogs...who love dirt.
It's part of the nesting thing, where you want a clean home. Just remember if it smells strong to you - stop!
Remember preggos have a sensitive nose!

There is some kind of chemical in bleach that is harmful to you and the baby when inhaled. It's almost like going to a gas station and inhaling all the fumes. Try to stay away from it. If your a clean freak (like my mother) and feels the need to have to clean with bleach....There are other things you can use that work just as well for cleaning.

You should be careful when using any cleaning product..when pregnant..just wear one of those breathing masks or turn your head so dont breathe it as much...before I became pregnant..I cleaned for the Rich...Had to be perfect..;)) so I mixed products and found awesome cleaning secrets..but I didnt definetly breath any of it..you dont want to even breathe any of it when youre not pregnant...so dont..breath it if you can avoid it...Bleach shouldnt harm your baby..so if youre just simply cleaning floor w/ bleach turn your head and do it as fast as you can or wear one of those nose and mouth masks they use for particles and dust...youll be fine..one thing though dont use x-14 in an enclosed shower..let someonelse do that while youre pregnant..and dont ever mix bleach w/ clorox cleanser..bad, bad , bad,....Its better to keep everything well ventelated while using any product whether pregnant or not..
Good luck to you ...and CONGRATS on your pregnancy...;))
