So, last night, we're "inspecting" Little Sweetie's candy, and discover that a good third of that candy is stuff she can't eat, on account of that small collection of metal in her mouth that cost more than my first 3 cars combined.
There really is no choice but to take it off her hands, and it'd be a shame to let it go to waste.
So, am I going to hell?

I had the same problem with my kid ... I just went out and bought her candy and stuff she liked and gave the other stuff away... She was disappointed but she got what she liked and could have in the end.
It sucks but the bag of 75% off after halloween candy was a hell of a lot cheaper than paying for those braces to be fixed!

nope. braces cost way too much to let a 99 cent caramel screw it up. If Little Sweetie insists that you're givin her a bad deal by taking her goods, see if you can trade the candy with another parent
