Couple months ago, I get in and the mirrors are out of whack, a lot. I adjust both and write it off as vandalism.

Last week, same thing, although the car was in my garage.

Then yesterday, I get in, start it up and hear a stepping motor running......I look for the noise and find both mirrors are adjusting themselves in random motion.

Any one elses mirrors just randomly adjust like this?

Yep, demon possession...put a carrot in your ear and walk around the car twice repeating..."I will never buy another Chrysler...I will never buy another Chrysler..."

You have a car with mirror and seat memory that is suppose to adjust for two drivers when you hit the memory button on the door. Something is screwed up and is trying to adjust when it's not asked to.

the driver memory system is malfuctioning and losing it's setting could be the module or the door switches. or the system voltage going to low and clearing memory during engine cranking check all battery cable connections and body grounds. and load test the battery before troubleshooting this problem

?,- does your car have "Memory settings" for more than One driver?...

if so, that feature might be malfunctioning asn you start the car... other than that, the power mirror switch might be malfunctioning as well as the motors in them...

Best wishes!

you are accidentally using the memory settings. you may be activating them with your key fob. your owners manual will describe how to program it all.
