Is it different for each player?

There is a monies pool drawn from gate receipts to minimum-required games. The champion team gets 36%, the losing team 24%, the LCS and Division Series losers smaller shares, and the four non-wildcard second place teams get 1% each. Every team votes for its own set of shares, partial shares, and flat cash awards, so there is no fixed amount per share until all the money is counted and the teams' portions distributed.

For reference, however, a full share of the 2006 Cardinals' WS winning bonus was about $362k.

Each year its differnt. The team gets a certain amount of money to divide up. For instance in 2004 when the Sox won, they divided up about $15 million dollars. The players vote on shares for each player, depending on how long they've been with the team. A full share in 2004 was worth about $224,000. If a player joined the team about 1/2 way through the season, they may only award him 1/2 a share. This year the Rockies voted a full share for the wife of the minor league coach who got struck by a foul ball and died.

It's different each time. I remember a few years ago, the owner paid out $1 Million for each winning player. Of course, the ALL get the ring
