Yeah, like right now. When death takes the love of your life away from you, the only way out is to follow at some point in time. Hopefully, there will be some comfort and consolation somewhere in this world to help time kill me (people don't kill time). Boom shaka laka laka boom!

I don't know your gf so that's hard to say for sure. She acted distant for a reason. even if you don't think so she may feel like you arnt as involved as she would like or that you don't like her very much. there are a TON of things she could be thinking like "we have only been together for 5 months and now he probably feels like he has to be with me" NO girl wants to feel like the only reason a guy is hanging around if because they have to. Make sure she knows you like her. And by a "break" she means space. Clear things up with her and try to be patient with her emotions, after all she is pregnant.

Yes, I have. When I was married to my first husband. He was both physically and verbally abusive. I was the only one that worked in the relationship, and he expected me to hand over every dime I made to him. Instead, I started putting a little money aside every week until I had enough to escape.

Yes, of course.
I escaped for years in a bottle of alcohol and one-night-stands. I found a way out when I found myself pregnant. My son saved my life, I have no doubt. He is 14 now and the light of my life.
Since then I have had setbacks but I just keep going on, one step at time.

Yes, but I did eventually find a way. Took me a while but I did. There is always a way out, it just sometimes takes us a way to find it or it may come unexpectedly.

Yes, but eventually I found the bobby pin,
and got the cuffs undone...
Oops, now they know that I'm gone...
Lock the doors, Lonnie's out! :D
And the cat is helping me type again,
while she gives herself a bath, eww,
her breath smells like fish...
no escaping the "cat" a comb...

Yes, in fact, your question just defined how my life is right now. Life is full of peaks and valleys. My valley has been going on for too long.
