It depends on the type of question. Typically with polls and stuff I don't care if its the asker or the voters, but if it was something more specific I would rather have been picked by the asker.

Picked by the asker as the asker is asking a question and people are trying to answer the question as good as they can.

Both are a honor. When the asker picks it means you answered the way he is thinking. When the voters do it, then that means most of the community believes the way you do.

The asker because they wanted to know. I feel like they just post the question for the heck of it if they don't pick the best answer
