Guard cells control the opening of the stomata, which let in CO2. Palisade cells contain chloroplasts which carry out photosysntheis.
Glucose is converted to sucrose, which is transported to other parts of the plant. The sugar is used for new growth or stored in the roots as starch. In sugarcane, the sucrose is stored in the stem unchanged. The root end of the stem is the sweetest.

guard cells open and close the stomata allowing carbon dioxide into the plant for use in photosyntheis. i believe the palisade cells have the many chloroplasts f or the production of glucose through photosynthesis(i could be wrong about the palisade cells though). glucose is used by the plant in the same fashion as animals in that they carry on aerobic respiration and breakdown the glucose into water and carbon dioxide producing theenergy molecule atp which is then used for cellular process.

Guard cells are the bananna shaped cells that open and close in pairs to let in and release the gases (oxygen and carbon dioxide) used for photosynthesis.

Palisade cells contain chlorophyll, the chemical that converts sunlight into energy, also used during photosynthesis.

The last one I'm not so sure about (was years since I done this in school!).

Hope this helps!

You know how they say something like "We fell into each other's arms?" That almost literally happened with my parents. My aunt was moving out of my grandparents' house, and her friend helped her move, and he knew my father, and so my father went along for the ride when my aunt's friend helped her move, and my mother was tagging along for the ride, as well, and when my mother got in the back seat of the car, my father was already sitting there with his arm out and resting on the back of the seat, as if it was an arm rest, and my mother ended up sitting where my father's arm was extended out. So, my parents met in the back seat of a car, with my father's arm around where my mother sat down.
