*LOOOOOL* Part two of my question should be "is cleavage a job requirement for female CSI?"

I think they aren't supposed to touch anything until they scope the scene out first. However the scene is when they arrive, they have to check it out as it is. Plus, some evidence can be seen better in the dark. That's why they use the black lights.

They can't turn on the lights at first because they might disturb fingerprints. Although I've noticed that they don't dust first before they do.
I like the cleavage comment, and as far as that goes, have you noticed how all the female lawyers dress on the L&O and clone shows? I've worked around lawyers for over 20 years, and trust me - unless your complete client base is the Pussycat Club, you do not dress like that. In fact, I know judges that would probably put a lawyer out of their courtroom for wearing some of the outfits I've seen.

Love this question!!!! Too funny. A star for you.

Have wondered the very same thing myself. I have no idea.

While we are talking about CSI...have you noticed the women detectives dress like hookers??? I have NEVER seen a lady police officer on duty wearing high heels and her breasts exposed.

I still enjoy watching CSI.....the shows have the best theme music!!
