... I grew my hair for 2 years, then I shaved it off for the first time in 2004 and I liked it .. then grew it again for a year, then cut it short (after my graduation).. then grew it again for a year, then cut it during the Israeli war on Lebanon in 2006 ... then grew it for 6 months .. then cut it short again last July just before a big exam .. then on the first of August I celebrated passing the exam by shaving it off again (see my avatar pic) ... and now I can't stand waiting for it to grow so I shaved it off again 3 days ago ...

I'd just arrived in the town and didn't know which hairdresser to go to. I came out looking like I'd just arrived from a farm. Somehow, I don't like to think how, I'd ended up with a bouffant.

I was horrified and broke, so I bought a pair of hairdressing scissors at the chemist and cut it myself, in the mirror. I looked rather like a boy (to get rid of the huge top I had to make it about 1cm all over), and my boyfriend had to even out the back of my neck, but I thought, better to be mistaken for a lesbian than a 'poppie' (the town's word for small-town, preening girls). Luckily my hair grows fast - now it's down to my chin and nobody would guess I did it myself...

about 2 weeks ago, I trimmed all of the fried ends off...before that, though, it had been about a year since I had had a hair cut. My hair used to be SOOOOO short.
Was I pleased? Well, the ends felt a lot better, but I miss being able to pull my hair up...some parts are just a teeeensy bit too short now...

3 weeks ago, i didnt walk out though, she did lol - she comes round to me. Yes i loved it, its long with shorter layers throughout. I will be having it trimmed again in about 7 weeks as i like to keep it looking healthy so tend to have it done every 10 weeks.
