Topcat, a cartoon character. He was a cool dude. Actually he was a cat. I was confused, but I was only ten.
Heathcliff in Wuthering Heights.
Almost any character played by Alan Rickman before he geezed out and got fat.
Lawrence of Arabia--T.E. Lawrence, as played by Peter O'Toole.
Iago, from Othello. Don't ask why. I probably need help.
Lurch from the Addams Family. The strong, silent type.

I used to watch a lot of anime cartoons on cartoon network, like card captors, pokemon etc. I actually over a period of a decade has accidentally fallen in love with sakura kinomoto. I was young and foolish , the issue is that the love is of the deepest kind. I cant live family life with out her. i want her in any way possible , I know that when you believe anything is possible, i didnt give up , i researched for a long time and i found out that our universe is looped around a peculiar multidimensional universe. i am gonna tear a hole in it and in that super creative world with helping residents I will beg the creator to make for me my love my wife, i have to built the device I call the open two way Jacobs ladder , my body i believe will get reorganized in quantum levels with multidimensional exotic matter , because it a normal entry procedure in that world. then bring back her and live together, 1 alternative is prayer but my faith is not strong enough.
and other option is death by natural process (old age) but it is a one way trip. and my married life will be lost. so preferred approach is praying and building the hyperspace device(Jacobs ladder).
wish me luck and the most difficult obstruction is that i am married.

I will say that I've read romance novels before and really liked the main male character, or one of the male characters. But I don't think I quite well in love with anybody fictional...except maybe Johnny Depp.
