I'd like to, because there are some real illiterate people, but that's not the point of answering. Even if their grammar and spelling is bad, they are looking for answers and not English lessons. So I hold my sarcasm, and just try to answer the question.

I used to but not much anymore. If the spelling is really bad, I won't answer the question - simple as that.

It's impolite to correct an adult's grammar. It's only appropriate to correct spelling and grammar if you are a teacher and are grading papers. Correcting your children is important.

No
Many people are just after the points, so don't bother checking spellings or grammar, so there's no point in telling them.

no-who cares about that? It annoys me when I see answers like: "you spell cat c-a-t,"or "why dont you post this "here","or "you need a question mark don't you?"-I mean seriously why bother to answer? Two points can come in so many more interesting packages!

If you feel that way when people do, why ask?
I will point them out if I think it was poor education. But I do allow for typos and I do make a judgement call if it will be worth it.

Well yes and no.
I build my gramma by correcting others. I reckon it's the best way of learning.
But I don't publicly say that this is right or wrong. I do it for educational benefit.

I don't point it out because i would feel like a nerd for doing so. But i notice it and i condemn it. People should learn proper grammer and how to use it.

heavens NO WAY!
This is for FUN! i am not sure of it myself and I will not do that ---
Plus, the way WE are familiar with it in the US, is not the same all over the world. The same goes for spelling.
AM I NOT RIGHT?
My Aunt used to take our letters we send to her and correct them, i still dont know what I am doing. however,

No, I say this, not to be smart, but I am a teacher, I teach and grade all day. When I come here, I want to relax and answer or ask questions. If I can read it, I can answer it!
