Everybody has the right to do with their life what they want. I'm sure that God would not want anyone to be unhappy especially if the thing that is making them unhappy can be changed.
Changing your appearance does not change your soul and that's what is most important.

God, regardless of the depth of ones belief, has never given anyone a sex. Do we need to explain the mommy and daddy bumping uglies story again? A person's sexuality is a mix of genitalia and brain chemistry. Many people are born that are wired differently.I don't remember the exact figure but a significant percent of infants are born hermaphroditic. What about them? Here's the bottom line: it's none of your business. Don't like it? Don't do it. As usual, what you god bots "think" is irrelevant. Are you so small minded that you can't accept the fact some people are born different. How would you feel if you were born with a woman's body but had a mind that was screaming guy stuff at you all the time? Again, no gods involved. @Terra: there's hope for you yet. You have the empathy that many of your fellow Christians lack. Some people are born different.

There is no hundred percent gender change operation. What is happening is that due to birth defects some people have organs of both(male and female). But if the proportion of female organs is more,by sex change, instead of double geneder ,the persons can become full female. In some cases there will be fully developed genitals and part of womb and in that case ,womb is removed to make the person man.Gender change is misunderstood. It is not possible for a well developed man to become woman by sex change operation.

Perhaps God also created the rest of the issues that are involved in this and as a result, the person could learn from them and become a better person through the struggles and the metamorphosis.

Thus Gods plan ~ and the recreation of the individual ~ is the point of the plan and the journey - and the story to be told about it all!

I think it is right, for the people who want it, due to the fact, that somewhere along the way, the souls due for each, went to the wrong body. Everyone can make a mistake, even GOD. I think that the saying churches use "we are here to pass on gods word", is a joke. They say GOD accepts everyone, yet when they see a TS person, they say this is not acceptable in GODS eyes. What they should say is "GOD ACCEPTS YOU, BUT I DO NOT AGREE WITH WHAT YOU ARE DOING". Personally, I agree with it, due to the fact I am an MtF

In my opinion,I think is not right to undergo a gender change operation.God has created us,whether is it man or woman.

Our parents gave birth to a baby, who would grow to be fine young gentleman or a nice lady.

I think that we should be thankful that God created us like that, and don't bother with these operations, which cost a lot of money. And also, why should we tamper with God's creation?^^

The question is what determines being a man or a woman. For those whose psychology and personality does not match their physical body, the question becomes crucial.

I don't think the argument that "God creates" can hold. Birth is a random accident - or do we blame God for cripples, deformed babies, thalidomide children - and on and on.

If I am born with a crippled foot, is it wrong to have surgery to repair it? If I am born with a cleft palate, or cross eyes, or a disease that cripples my arms - and there is surgery to repair those birth defects - am I wrong to have the surgery?

If I am born with the physical body of a man - and the soul of a woman - and surgery can fix it - am I wrong to take that opportunity?

Science & affordadibilty have made many do things . You are born a Christian why would you Convert to XYZ. If the Great Lord wanted you to be xyzian, he would have made you born in that community. If a lady wants bigger breasts, she can meet a surgeon, so taking a bigger step which only a few take they want their gender changed too. Its a PURELY PERSONAL choice.

If God has given you a headache why take an aspirine? If God has caused you to fall down, why get up?

YOU are responsible for your OWN life, regardless of your relation and servitude to the Lord. We are given freedom, power and responsibility, use them, but wisely.

Why wear make up, or brush your hair?

Dissections of transsexuals brains have shown an anatomical difference in one part of their brains, it doesn't follow the norm for their sex, it's like the other genders. Their problem is biological, not emotional, and has nothing to do with a make believe god.
