This has happened to my wife on a number of occasions, as the warning buzzer on our Explorer doesn't work and she's left the lights on, both headlights and dome lights. The long slow drain causes the terminals to corrode lightly, and after charging the radio etc will work, but the vehicle won't start, and the headlights won't come on. Cleaning the terminals will fix this problem, though it may be necessary to charge the battery again, or jump start the car. If the battery is fairly new, this will usually be all you need do, but if your battery is old, you may have to replace it. Please note, when removing the battery terminals, always remove the negative terminal first. Removing the positive terminal first can result in a serious burn if you touch the wrench you're using to the car body while it's still in contact with the battery! Good luck!

Slow drain killed your battery. Take time to remove the battery and red and black terminal covers sand paper the electrical connectors put back the red and black covers install new battery with new battery bolts available at Auto-Parts store. Once the battery has sulfide on the battery plates it takes about 100 amps to boil the sulfides off slow charge just bakes the battery and makes it weaker. Automotive batterys like quick high loads and fast recharges.
