7 years, Well I think a marriage license should have to be renewed every 7 years, if not renewed then its over, no hassle, more realistic, smaller houses for lawyers

Marriage should not come with a "warranty document" as this would defeat the whole purpose of marriage which is a sacred union of two parties. I however believe that individuals should get to know as much as they can about each other, including their habits, etc... before they get married so as to minimize the possibilities of breakups. On a whole, marriage is a union which both parties are to be ready for and where much understanding has to be shared between parties in order to make this union last. The guiding factors are love, trust and the willingness to forgive.

No. Marriage is not a like business contract. It's a lifetime commitment to love each other thru good and bad times until someone dies. If the marriage doesn't pan out then divorce is the only way out and there are provisions for that.

What it should come with is a disclosure on parental screening before starting a family. Too many abused, abandoned children are brought into the world to parents, either too young who have no clue what they are doing, or into a world of drugs and/or alcohol abuse. Don't get me wrong, there are many good descent parents who have good morals and family values. I am just so disgusted when I hear on the news of an abused child shaken or injured just because it wouldn't stop crying, etc. ....even killed in some cases.
