good question. i always find that they put the ready salted flavour at the top AND the bottom. they always make packs with 7 packets in them, and they always put three ready salted or cheese and onion in there. why is there never 3 salt and vinegar. grr.
i think it has to do with laws of probability and the fact that the crisps hate me

Try and shake the multipack round abit before opening it.
Maybe they put the most popular flavours at the bottom deliberatly, so then you have to eat the boring flavours first. If you dont eat the boring flavours and just buy a new multipack then youll end up with loads of uneaten crisps - that doesnt look good for the crisp company!

the reason is because in the bag is the crisp monkey and he is a wee messer. he knows what ur fav flavour is and on the way home from the shop in the boot of your car with all the other messages he is moving the crisp bags around so that you have to fish around for your desired bag....... he likes it cos you are tickling him as your fishing....... when you put the bag back in the press he moves them around again so you never get ur fav bag first time........ beware of the crisp monkey

if the flavours you don't like are at the top and bottom, maybe you should just stick with one flavour that you DO like, then the one you like will always be on top....otherwise crack the pack open in the middle! :-)

lol..that always happens you have to reach to the bottom to get want you want. And there seems to be more of the one you dislike and less of your favorite.
