my 6 yrs old nephew asked me this question...does anyone there knows the answer???

For a 6 year old - the answer is caterpillars pee differently than people. Insects can excrete wastes as ammonia, uric acid, or urine - it depends on the species. Most caterpillars excrete uric acid mixed with other wastes in their gut, so this isn't really urine, but its very similar. Some catepillars expel crystalline uric acid in a powder form or as tiny pellets. .

Yes, but they have a little amount. This explenation is that a caterpillar must have enough energy to gain enough to supply the cocoon itself. But when they urinate,they waste a lot of energy. So that is why they urinate less that other insects at its first stage of its life.

I have to research about that.But i'm sure all animals,whatever kinds or kingdom they belong have excretory system.

I have no idea. But all forms of life excrete substances. Probably not externally, but they do.

yes they urinate.because they are too small so the quantity is also low which is impossible to see through naked eye
