Those "Strangeloves" frauds recorded on 'Swan' before RCA. They came from Brooklyn and the Bronx; ripped off Bo Diddley; put on phoney accents, and changed their names more often than I have.

If they didn't do "I Want Candy" on Swan, then they had to have done it on "Bang"--a fairly short-lived company if I remember correctly.

The only other option would be if they put it on an Australian label...but I don't think they went out there till the 70s...
